What is "Priority Processing" and how do I request it?

By default, data products ordered under the OhioView/OhioLINK standing order are processed at Priority level 3, resulting in a turnaround time of about 48 hours after satellite acquisition. Under extreme circumstances, this turnaround time can be reduced to about six hours by requesting Priority 1 processing. To request Priority 1 processing:
  1. Email Ron Risty at risty@usgs.gov specifying the path/row and date and requesting OhioView processing. Include a description of the need for Priority 1 processing. Copy the message to John Millard at millarj@lib.muohio.edu

  2. John will coordinate with the USGS to ensure that the data is received and made available from the OhioView data archive as quickly as possible.
