Free Online GIS and Remote Sensing Workshops

Are you interested in learning how to work with online GIS and remote sensing imagery, techniques, and methods that use freely available software?

If so, then mark the following dates on your calendar – from

10:00am to 12:45pm (EST) on the following Fridays:

OhioView invites you to be a participant in the 6th annual OhioView Presents: Multi-University Geospatial Workshops taking place on those dates. The theme for this year’s workshops is “Online and Open Source GIS and Remote Sensing:  This Is The Way” and you’ll be applying GIS and remote sensing concepts hands-on for the workshop sessions.

These workshops will be conducted online via Zoom, with different topics offered on each of the three days.  They are conducted by professors from Ohio universities who are part of OhioView, the statewide geospatial and remote sensing education and research consortium.

These virtual sessions are open to everyone as free workshops with no registration fee.

Registration is now available for all three of these workshops.  Topics for them and the registration links are as follows:

Friday, February 9, 2024:  10:00am – 12:45pm  (Intermediate level sessions):
